My congregation in Greenfield, Iowa – Immanuel Lutheran Church – is beginning to ramp up to celebrate her 150th anniversary in 2024. Chartered in 1874, the congregation became a member of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. She has remained a faithful congregation of the synod during her entire history. We rejoice for the thousands of people who have been members of this congregation. We rejoice that only the Lord Jesus Christ and Him crucified has been preached from her pulpit. And we look forward to God’s continued blessings and providence to pour down upon this congregation for many years to come.
